Doni Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to DRAGONS getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gildo Vinhas hit a great ball. Cássio Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Willian Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Doni Couto scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Matorin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Lapela's Wilton Abraão got control of the ball when Otávio Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otávio Moraess short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Wilton Abraão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mazinho Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Abraão having to interfere. Felipe Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otávio Moraes struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Wilton Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DRAGONS. After 41 played minutes, Lapela's Matheus Terra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Matorin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lapela reached it. André Luís Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when André Luís Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Felipe Matorin made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gildo Vinhas during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to DRAGONS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gildo Vinhas hit a great ball. When André Luís Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Lapela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Otávio Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Doni Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doni Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Luís Ortiz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Felipe Matorin 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lapela's Marcelo Pires got a free kick in the 77th minute. After recieving a nice pass, DRAGONS's David de Godoi tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Lapela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Terra to maneuver through the defense. DRAGONS's Felipe Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save DRAGONS from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute Otávio Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Lapela got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Pires. When the match was over Lapela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DRAGONS throughout the match.
