After a defensive mix-up in Vasconcellos's zone, Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Campidelis came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Noel Fernandes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Caco Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiaguinho Terra in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betão de Amaral during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Betão de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caco Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caco Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiaguinho Terra went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, FILIPPENSES FC's Caco Reis got control of the ball when Tiaguinho Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gilvan Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiaguinho Terra got free with Caco Reis in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when João Augusto Peixoto made the kick off in the second half. Márcio Simão hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Betão de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Gustavo Fantini hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Caco Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Terra in the 59th minute of the match. Caco Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiaguinho Terra went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. FILIPPENSES FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vasconcellos the free kick. After a rather tough play, FILIPPENSES FC's Márcio Simão got a free kick in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Terra notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FILIPPENSES FC's Caco Reis. Caco Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tiaguinho Terra came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Vasconcellos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiaguinho Terra couldn't finish the play. Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. José Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Terra struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Caco Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasconcellos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Terra in the 94th minute of play forced FILIPPENSES FC's goalkeeper Caco Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Vasconcellos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
