Ludibriados FC's Amauri Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludibriados FC's Dino Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Ferreira in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elano Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Uruque SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Berger to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Ferreira in the 78th minute of play forced Ludibriados FC's goalkeeper Dino Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ludibriados FC's goalkeeper Dino Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dino Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Maranhense in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Reginaldo Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
