Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yan do Vale started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Romário Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Izzy F C's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Falcão came free, but Artur de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yan do Vale got free with Eusébio Arósio in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Quirino in the 31st minute of play. After 35 minutes of play, Izzy F C's Anton Nyman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Izzy F C's Yan do Vale in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmares SS's goalie prevented a goal. Eusébio Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan do Vale in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Palmares SS got a freekick which was hit by Benê Falcão. Eusébio Arósio made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Yan do Vale sent off a good shot on target. Izzy F C's Artur de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Quirino in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benê Falcão made a kick off. Artur de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Benê Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Almir Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Palmares SS booed when Izzy F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Tande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artur de Sena. Izzy F C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Izzy F C's Artur de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Falcão in the 67th minute of play. Eusébio Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Yan do Vale sped through Palmares SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eusébio Arósio. 78 minutes into the game, Yan do Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Eusébio Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Yan do Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Arósio was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan do Vale in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardinho Tande hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Virgílio Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Palmares SS's zone, Almir Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Arósio came out of the goal and Almir Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Izzy F C were the better team. Izzy F C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
