In the 6th minute, Yan do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Uru's goal looked a bit too open when Yan do Vale came free, but Deka Al-Habsy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Izzy F C got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Sena. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Válbson Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uru's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes Izzy F C got a freekick which was hit by Almir Sabóia. Bruno Santos's late challenge caught a Izzy F C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Santos helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Uru got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Santos. The supporters of Uru booed when Izzy F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Izzy F C's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Valladares came free, but Artur de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deka Al-Habsy having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Izzy F C's zone, Válbson Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur de Sena came out of the goal and Válbson Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Válbson Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur de Sena having to interfere. Guga Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Artur de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur de Sena made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Mathias Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Izzy F C's Perivaldo Sena got a free kick in the 34th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathias Barbosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur de Sena. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. If Bruno Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deka Al-Habsy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan do Vale's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yan do Vale to make the kick off. Artur de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Guga Mota came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Uru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Mota couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Izzy F C's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Barbosa came free, but Artur de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guga Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Barbosa in the 75th minute of the match. Mathias Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur de Sena having to interfere. If Válbson Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Santos in the 83rd minute of play. Guga Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Mota in the 87th minute of play forced Izzy F C's goalkeeper Artur de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Uru's Guga Mota got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of Izzy F C booed when Uru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belchior Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deka Al-Habsy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Romário Veiga. Uru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
