Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Reborn FC's Guilherme de Godoi started the match with a crisp pass. The coaching staff of Rio de Janeiro FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elivélton Pernambucano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 7th minute, Elivélton Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the game, Wesley Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reborn FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio de Janeiro FC the free kick. After having played for 15 minutes, Tadeu Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio de Janeiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Brodel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Capixaba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Alexandre Queiroz made a huge save. Lino Linhares hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeu Brodel during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Rio de Janeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Linhares in the 26th minute of play. When Andrézinho Reis came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Rio de Janeiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Reis couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute Alexsandro Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Queiroz came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Reborn FC's Guilherme de Godoi. But to his dismay, Guilherme de Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tadeu Brodel struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Alberto Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio de Janeiro FC. If Márcio de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Raimundo Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio de Janeiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rio de Janeiro FC's Márcio de Lara has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 90th minute. In the 96th minute, Márcio de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Reborn FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
