Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tadeu Vides started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Celso Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Mazza in the 3rd minute of the match. When João Augusto Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Real Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Augusto Mazza couldn't finish the play. Tadeu Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Washington Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of 1922 União Soviética URSS booed when Real Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Dráuzio Meira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Flamengo's Washington Cerezo didn't even have to move. Dráuzio Meira, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 18th minute, Oséas Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tadeu Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Flamengo's Washington Cerezo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Real Flamengo from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Oséas Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1922 União Soviética URSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to 1922 União Soviética URSS getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Waldemar de Castro hit a great ball. Real Flamengo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Júnior de Queiroz in the 47th minute. Armando Alvarenga tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Celso Queirós. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Osvaldinho Aparecido made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Oséas Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1922 União Soviética URSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. João Augusto Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute of the match, Osvaldinho Aparecido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celso Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 61st minute, João Augusto Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldinho Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Queirós having to interfere. After a rather tough play, 1922 União Soviética URSS's Luís Paulo Freitas got a free kick in the 66th minute. Celso Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Augusto Mazza in the 74th minute. 1922 União Soviética URSS's Celso Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save 1922 União Soviética URSS from getting a goal against them. In the 79th match minute, 1922 União Soviética URSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Freitas to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match, Osvaldinho Aparecido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celso Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 91st minute Osvaldinho Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldinho Aparecido's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Oséas Martins notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Real Flamengo's Washington Cerezo. Washington Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1922 União Soviética URSS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
