After a rather tough play, Asilo das velhas obesas's Clóvis Tinoco got a free kick in the 80th minute. Valdemar Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Valdemar Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Felipe Leal sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute Jonas Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Società Sportiva Palestra's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
