Vítor Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Annitapolis's Vítor Azevedo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Amílton Souto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When Maurício Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Atléticos do Paraíso FC fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Azevedo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauan Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinei Bertassi's late challenge caught a Atléticos do Paraíso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Bertassi helped the player get up and apologised. Claudinei Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Amílton Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Loyola in the 38th minute of the match. Oséias Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Kauan Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Vítor Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kauan Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Atléticos do Paraíso FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Annitapolis were winning 1-2.

Kauan Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romário de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Amílton Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atléticos do Paraíso FC. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Flávio Loyola sped through Annitapolis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amílton Souto. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atléticos do Paraíso FC's goalkeeper Kauan Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Atléticos do Paraíso FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Flávio Loyola hit a great ball. Oséias Gomes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Annitapolis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 75th minute, Annitapolis's Oséias Gomes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kauan Neves. Kauan Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 83rd minute, Romário de Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amílton Souto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Romário de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atléticos do Paraíso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romário de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílton Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernão Terra hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Maurício Arruda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Annitapolis's Amílton Souto didn't even have to move. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
