After having played for 3 minutes, Pedro Luís Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umarizeira AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luís Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Guartela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Renan Dracena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Mário Paraíba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mário Paraíba went to the wrong direction when Pedro Luís Borges was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Umarizeira AD's Pedro Luís Borges was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renan Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Guartela FC booed when Umarizeira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position.
