Natanael Paulista struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Hélder Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mugiwara S.A.. The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Nicolas Gaúcho put in a rough tackle. In the 6th minute, Nicolas Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sardinha's Rafa Severo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Hélder Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Oscar Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mugiwara S.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mugiwara S.A.'s Natanael Paulista in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sardinha's Rafa Severo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 20th minute, Zé Paulo Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesinha Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Sardinha's Carlos Alberto Silveira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cesinha Paranaense. That made the score 3-0 after 29 minutes of play. Cesinha Paranaense came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sardinha's Rafa Severo. But to his dismay, Rafa Severo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 36th minute, Natanael Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mugiwara S.A.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Carlos Alberto Silveira scored to the left of an out of position Cesinha Paranaense, making the score, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Cesinha Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Silveira in the 53rd minute of the match. Cesinha Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Zé Paulo Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Silveira in the 83rd minute of play forced Mugiwara S.A.'s goalkeeper Cesinha Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Paulista in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hélder Matorin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Sardinha's Hélder Matorin got control of the ball when Durvalino Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natanael Paulista in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Alfredo Fernandez in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sardinha's Rafa Severo. After 97 played minutes Mugiwara S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Sabóia. There was no doubt that Sardinha were the better team. Sardinha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
