Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reinaldo Loureiro started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Dedé Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Couto. Astro MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedé Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 8th minute, Reynaldo Viana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astro MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Astro MZ's Mateus Couto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Astro MZ from getting a goal against them. After 18 played minutes Astro MZ got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Arósio. Róbson de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Doni Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astro MZ. Doni Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Viana went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Astro MZ's Mateus Couto got control of the ball when Dedé Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walmir Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Róbson de Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astro MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Dedé Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the White Rhinoceros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Esteves couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Róbson de Alcântara made a kick off. Reynaldo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. White Rhinoceros's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Róbson de Alcântara 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. In the 60th minute, Dedé Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Mateus Couto. Astro MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 3-4 became the score in the 64th minute when Reinaldo Loureiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 67th minute Dedé Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astro MZ's Mateus Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Esteves in the 69th minute of play. Josué Xavier charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josué Xavier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Josué Xavier hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Almir Lucas lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of White Rhinoceros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Astro MZ:s goal. A hard shot 79 in the game by Reynaldo Viana from a close distance when the talented Doni Velasco managed to make a qualified save. White Rhinoceros's players were relieved. After 80 played minutes Róbson de Alcântara rounded White Rhinoceros's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-6. Astro MZ's Reynaldo Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osmar Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Iuri Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mateus Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
