Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luiz Paulo Sena made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Patamute SC's Luiz Paulo Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 4 played minutes Fortal got a freekick which was hit by Rony Lucas. If Luiz Paulo Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Luiz Paulo Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Adalmo Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patamute SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalmo Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fortal's Jailson Mangueira in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patamute SC's goalie prevented a goal. Conrado Castro made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nando Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Patamute SC's goalkeeper Conrado Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nando Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nando Queiroz got free with Conrado Castro in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Jailson Mangueira rounded Patamute SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Adalmo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Coelho having to interfere. After the first half Patamute SC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nando Queiroz in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Castro saved Patamute SC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Queiroz in the 52nd minute of play forced Patamute SC's goalkeeper Conrado Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Serginho Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patamute SC's protests and gave Serginho Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute of the match Acácio Lago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Castro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jailson Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adalmo Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zé Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toninho Teles during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fortal's Toninho Teles got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Zé Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th match minute, Patamute SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Tepedino to maneuver through the defense.
