Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bruninho Arce got the match started through his kick off. Sandrinho Sampaio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Pato SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 4 minutes into the match, BELA VISTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Arce came free, but Waldir do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pato SC's Sandrinho Sampaio got a free kick in the 5th minute. BELA VISTA FC's Waldir do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Sampaio in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pato SC's goalkeeper Raphael Matorin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 23 minutes, Nestor Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BELA VISTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vivaldo Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th match minute, Pato SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pato SC booed when BELA VISTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Bruninho Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio Cosme hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Luiz Paulo Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo Cearense in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raphael Matorin saved Pato SC from getting behind. Luiz Paulo Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Matorin having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernandão Quintal was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match BELA VISTA FC got a corner. Pato SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Percy Salles ran over to the corner to take the kick. 56 minutes into the match, BELA VISTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo de Queiroz came free, but Waldir do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BELA VISTA FC's Hélio Cosme got a free kick in the 57th minute. Raphael Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Cearense in the 59th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BELA VISTA FC made a substitution. Paulo José Mota replaced Enrique Tróia. When Miguel Goiano fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BELA VISTA FC's protests and gave Miguel Goiano a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Goiano hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Bruninho Arce took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir do Valle. Waldir do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luiz Paulo Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Fernandão Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Raphael Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandão Quintals short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Raphael Matorin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 93 minutes into the match, Anselmo de Queiroz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir do Valle. BELA VISTA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo de Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Waldir do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Arce in the 97th minute of play. BELA VISTA FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pato SC had won, even though BELA VISTA FC had held more of the ball.
