The referee ignored Caaguacu's protests and gave Jardel da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Braba SC's Elivélton Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wanderson Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Conrado Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caaguacu's Wanderson Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Caaguacu from getting a goal against them. Jano Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Raimundo Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinei Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fabiano Eger's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Dinei Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Furtado was the one to do the kick off. Teodoro Furtado scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wanderson Guerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jaime Maciel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. In the 86th minute Teodoro Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Braba SC fully deserved thier win.
