Dorival Tavares lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 8th minute, one of Viola da Maldade F.S:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Viola da Maldade F.S. Leonel da Silveira walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Viola da Maldade F.S's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Sandrinho de Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Vivaldo Pernambucano, making the score, 1-0. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Genílson Albuquerque with Sandrinho de Almeida as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Dagoberto Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viola da Maldade F.S's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Sandrinho de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Bruno Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viola da Maldade F.S's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Genílson Albuquerque in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Viola da Maldade F.S's Bruno Paraibano. Bruno Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Paraibano to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Carlos Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bruno Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Viola da Maldade F.S fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Paraibano couldn't finish the play. Viola da Maldade F.S's Bruno Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes in the game, Dagoberto Cardoso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tiago Mendonça having to interfere. In the 67th minute Bruno Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Mendonça didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. In the 76th minute Dalmo Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viola da Maldade F.S's attentive Bruno Paraibano managed to snatch the ball when Genílson Albuquerque made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Bruno Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tiago Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Sandrinho de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Mendonça having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Bruno Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viola da Maldade F.S's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Paz AD's Sandrinho de Almeida in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Viola da Maldade F.S's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Carlos Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paz AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vivaldo Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dagoberto Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Paz AD could leave the field as winners, despite Viola da Maldade F.S having more of the ball for most of the match.
