Bruno Paraibano started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Macuna FC's Túlio Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vivaldo Pernambucano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9thth minute of the game Túlio Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viola da Maldade F.S's Vivaldo Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute Túlio Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Túlio Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viola da Maldade F.S's Vivaldo Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vivaldo Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Branco in the 25th minute of play. Hélder de Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélder de Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Viola da Maldade F.S's Hélder de Azevedo got a free kick in the 27th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Eurico Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macuna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viola da Maldade F.S the free kick. A collision led to Macuna FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Eurico Baptista hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Túlio Branco made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Viola da Maldade F.S's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Túlio Branco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eurico Baptista was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Dagoberto Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Pontes having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Gustavo Saldanha threw the ball into play from the sideline. Macuna FC's Túlio Branco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bruno Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Macuna FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
