Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrézinho Monteiro started the match with the kick off. In the last second Vítor Bittencourt throw himself and got hold of the ball when Luisão Mumbach in the 3rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 10th minute, Luisão Mumbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luisão Mumbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Curaca EC's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Pombal came free, but Emerson de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Caiua booed when Curaca EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Luisão Mumbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curaca EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisão Mumbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vítor Bittencourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cauã Mumbach in the 28th minute. Luisão Mumbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauã Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vítor Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cauã Mumbach's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Vítor Bittencourt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 39th minute, Olavo Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curaca EC's Betinho Matorin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Roberto Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luisão Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Vítor Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisão Mumbach to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Luisão Mumbach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Bittencourt was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 56th match minute, Caiua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Vítor Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Mumbach in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Caiua's zone, Cauã Mumbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Bittencourt came out of the goal and Cauã Mumbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrézinho Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Curaca EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elder Pombal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cauã Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elder Pombal in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Cauã Mumbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Curaca EC had won after a very even match.
