After having played for 24 minutes, Washington Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Lucas Melo fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaxinduba SS's protests and gave Lucas Melo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Peaky Blinders booed when Guaxinduba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matheus França to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Matheus França cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Elano de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute, Lucas Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Valério Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Peaky Blinders fans jumped to their feet. Guaxinduba SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Matheus França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elano de Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After having played for 80 minutes, Washington Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Tavares in the 91st minute of play forced Guaxinduba SS's goalkeeper Danilo Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Guaxinduba SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
