The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match, Frederico Pombal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eliézer Dante saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wellington Faustino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. In the 9th minute, Wellington Faustino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Magalhães during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Almas's Frank Magalhães got a free kick in the 11th minute. Eliézer Dante made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Frederico Pombal sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Vidal in the 19th minute of play forced Almas's goalkeeper Eliézer Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Almas's Eliézer Dante got control of the ball when Agnaldo Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uacorisal FC's Ramiro do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Silveira in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermínio Zanette during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Hermínio Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wellington Faustino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Almas's Júlio Arantes got a free kick in the 28th minute. Eliézer Dante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Agnaldo Vidal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. Wellington Faustino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Uacorisal FC booed when Almas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agnaldo Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Clóvis Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clóvis Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alfredinho Silveira made the kick off in the second half. Gugu Pirani's late challenge caught a Almas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gugu Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. After 50 played minutes Uacorisal FC got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Pirani. Alfredinho Silveira struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ramiro do Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almas. Eliézer Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agnaldo Vidal scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliézer Dante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almas's Eliézer Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Pombal in the 61st minute of play. Eliézer Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Pombal in the 65th minute of the match. Ramiro do Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Alfredinho Silveira sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Almas's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Pirani came free, but Eliézer Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliézer Dante came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Uacorisal FC's Wellington Faustino. But to his dismay, Wellington Faustino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Eliézer Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hermínio Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Wellington Faustino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliézer Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Aleandro Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleandro Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Uacorisal FC got a freekick which was hit by Aleandro Sabóia. Alfredinho Silveira took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro do Nascimento. Ramiro do Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. If Alfredinho Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellington Faustino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Dante having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Almas's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Pombal came free, but Eliézer Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
