Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Vaz started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Avallon FC's Joel Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maicon Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Joel Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauã Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Michel Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Cai SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Mangueira couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Vaz in the 29th minute of play forced Cai SC's goalkeeper Maicon Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Alfredinho Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cai SC and the Avallon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cai SC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alfredinho Paranaense hit a great ball. If Joel Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tião França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Maicon Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Joel Vaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Tasso. Cai SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Vaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Kauã Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Tasso having to interfere. After the first half Avallon FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredinho Paranaense was the one to do the kick off. Kauã Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Carlos Augusto Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maicon Tasso was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Joel Vaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Vaz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Maicon Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Vaz in the 70th minute of the match. Maicon Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Cai SC's Maicon Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Vaz in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Kauã Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Maicon Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute Michel Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maicon Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Vaz in the 82nd minute of play. Maicon Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Carlos Augusto Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avallon FC's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Tião França took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Maicon Tasso to make any attempt to save it.
