Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yuri de Castro made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Tamboril SS's Rui Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laerte Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Laerte Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Wiliam Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri de Castro in the 13th minute of play forced Anelio's goalkeeper Laerte Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Anelio's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Peres came free, but Laerte Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anísio Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute Yuri de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Renato Motta hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tiago Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio Goiano's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Laerte Prestes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Peres went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Anísio Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Anelio's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri de Castro came free, but Laerte Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dudu Gerber hit a great ball. Anelio's Chicão Quintal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tiago Romero but with some difficulty.

In the 51st play minute Rui Peres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Laerte Prestes. 0-5. The supporters of Anelio booed when Tamboril SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laerte Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Linares in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Tamboril SS's Rui Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laerte Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Anelio's Laerte Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Carioca in the 69th minute of play. Hílton Linares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Laerte Prestes made a huge save. Laerte Prestes made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Rui Peres sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri de Castro in the 73rd minute of play forced Anelio's goalkeeper Laerte Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Anelio booed when Tamboril SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavinho Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hílton Linares's late challenge caught a Anelio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hílton Linares helped the player get up and apologised. Hílton Linares hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Anísio Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Romero having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hílton Linares got free with Laerte Prestes in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorival Carioca took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laerte Prestes. Laerte Prestes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. After 96 minutes, Nelsinho Mazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tamboril SS and the Anelio players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Tamboril SS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tamboril SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
