If Belmiro Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belmiro Berger in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitinho Veiga saved Restos de Aborto from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmiro Berger in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitinho Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Vides in the 20th minute of the match. When Vila Pindense F.C's Belmiro Berger in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Restos de Aborto's goalie prevented a goal. Restos de Aborto's Vitinho Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Berger in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes, Vila Pindense F.C's Marcelinho Valadares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitinho Veiga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vila Pindense F.C reached it. After having played for 42 minutes, Bebeto Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Pindense F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bebeto Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of Vila Pindense F.C booed when Restos de Aborto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Benedito de Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zé Martins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Vila Pindense F.C getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Giovani Porto hit a great ball. Nestor Paulista hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Bebeto Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ramón Vides fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Restos de Aborto's protests and gave Ramón Vides a yellow card for diving instead. Ramón Vides hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Vitinho Veiga was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mehmet Anıl Erdoğdu. Vila Pindense F.C's Zé Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Lucas in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute Bebeto Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto Pontes in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitinho Veiga saved Restos de Aborto from getting behind.
