Di Calcanha's Benê Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Bezerra in the 41st minute of play. Benê Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Maranhense got free with Benê Gaspar in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Igor Brasil made the kick off in the second half. When Pedro Augusto Saraiva came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Chalana SS fans jumped to their feet. When Enéas Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Di Calcanha's protests and gave Enéas Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. Enéas Silveira hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Alex Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesinha Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Pereira having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Alex Maranhense made a precise shot to the right of Benê Gaspar. Di Calcanha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After having played for 82 minutes, Alex Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chalana SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Maranhense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilvan Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Gaspar having to interfere. Di Calcanha's Benê Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Saraiva in the 92nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Brasil in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Pereira saved Chalana SS from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Di Calcanha's Igor Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yan Pereira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chalana SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Di Calcanha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
