A collision led to Mirandinha AD getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. João Pedro da Cunha hit a great ball. Alfredo Alagoano hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Edu Rezende was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luís Fernando Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso de Souza having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Dorival Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mirandinha AD and the Cavalo negro players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mirandinha AD getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Dorival Godoi hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betinho Bertassi in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginaldo Donatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermínio Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Betinho Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reginaldo Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betinho Bertassi in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Hermínio Viana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reginaldo Donatello. Cavalo negro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermínio Viana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 40th match minute, Mirandinha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mirandinha AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edu Rezende was slow to take the kick. During this time Cavalo negro's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Edu Rezende got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celso de Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovanni Cavalcante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Betinho Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cavalo negro's Reginaldo Donatello got control of the ball when Betinho Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Mirandinha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Viana to maneuver through the defense. Geovanni Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 69 minutes, Luís Fernando Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavalo negro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fernando Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Fernando Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Luís Fernando Lopes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mirandinha AD's Celso de Souza. Celso de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Betinho Bertassi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reginaldo Donatello having to make a save. Luís Fernando Lopes struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Celso de Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavalo negro. Reginaldo Donatello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Betinho Bertassi went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the game, Mirandinha AD's Betinho Bertassi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reginaldo Donatello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The Mirandinha AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
