Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aluísio Vasconcelos kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Aluísio Vasconcelos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Márcio de Sousa. Aluísio Vasconcelos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Folheta EC's Jonathan Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio da Silveira in the 10th minute of play. Aluísio Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Jailson da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aluísio Vasconcelos might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Márcio de Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aluísio Vasconcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. Márcio de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aluísio Vasconcelos in the 20th minute of play. Márcio de Sousa came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Folheta EC's Dionísio Rezende. But to his dismay, Dionísio Rezende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Dionísio Rezende who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Márcio de Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Eletro Power's goal looked a bit too open when Aluísio Vasconcelos came free, but Márcio de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Eletro Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Aluísio Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Márcio de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Eletro Power getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Norberto Gomes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Aluísio Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Folheta EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aluísio Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flávio da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Eletro Power's Roberto Diniz got a free kick in the 56th minute. Dionísio Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio de Sousa having to interfere. Aluísio Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Márcio de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Aluísio Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Nando Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aluísio Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Norberto Gomes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. Norberto Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Eletro Power's goal looked a bit too open when Aluísio Vasconcelos came free, but Márcio de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aluísio Vasconcelos in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Folheta EC got a corner. Eletro Power's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fábio Varela ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Folheta EC had played much better football throughout.
