José Pedro Leite took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexsandro de Queiroz. Quincos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Flávio da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Valadares hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Kiko Braga came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Eletro Power fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Braga couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Tepedino hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Natã Saldanha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Quincos FC's Teodoro Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Márcio de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Quincos FC. Natã Saldanha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Márcio de Sousa. 0-1. Fabinho Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Fabinho Terra came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Quincos FC fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio da Silveira in the 42nd minute of play forced Quincos FC's goalkeeper Alexsandro de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Quincos FC's Fabinho Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Márcio de Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Márcio de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Terra in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho Terra to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Eletro Power's Norberto Gomes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Natã Saldanha, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Márcio de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Eletro Power:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quincos FC:s goal. With a little luck, Eletro Power's Márcio de Sousa got control of the ball when Teodoro Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eletro Power's Márcio de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Terra in the 71st minute of play. After 77 played minutes Quincos FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Saldanha. Alexsandro de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Kiko Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eletro Power fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 85th minute, Fabinho Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Márcio de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Quincos FC's Fabinho Terra in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Quincos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
