Percival Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Txeru having to interfere. Moises Txeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When Norberto Souto fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Insanos FC's protests and gave Norberto Souto a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave LUNA F.C a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Laerte Fernandes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Insanos FC's Moises Txeru. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Soares in the 21st minute of play forced Insanos FC's goalkeeper Moises Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Eugênio Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LUNA F.C and the Insanos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugênio Marinho hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Ramón de Mendonça could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Moises Txeru however easily saved by the left post. Moises Txeru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Chaves in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Korneliusz Moczkiewicz during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Insanos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Moczkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, Insanos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo de Barros to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Insanos FC's goalkeeper Moises Txeru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laerte Fernandes. Patrick Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Alessandro Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Alessandro Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio da Fonseca in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 played minutes LUNA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Prado. After a rather tough play, Insanos FC's Norberto Souto got a free kick in the 57th minute. Patrick Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LUNA F.C's zone, Pedro Paulo de Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Oliveira came out of the goal and Pedro Paulo de Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Txeru came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by LUNA F.C's Percival Soares. But to his dismay, Percival Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 68th minute, Korneliusz Moczkiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Fábio da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Romero in the 72nd minute of play forced Insanos FC's goalkeeper Moises Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Chaves in the 73rd minute of play forced LUNA F.C's goalkeeper Alessandro Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Txeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Jarbas Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LUNA F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Insanos FC the free kick. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Korneliusz Moczkiewicz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alessandro Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Chaves in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Anselmo Favoretto made a precise shot to the right of Moises Txeru. Insanos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Fábio da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. LUNA F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
