Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aírton Recife started the match with the kick off. Aírton Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erivaldo Diniz during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erivaldo Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Aírton Recife cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fernão Moreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Pedro Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrício Guedes in the 18th minute of play. João Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, João Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to E.C. ENGINEERING getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rodolfo Quaresma hit a great ball. Patrício Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but José Pedro Tande made a huge save. In the 28thth minute of the game Aírton Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Palestrina's Fernão Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdemar Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fernão Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A wasted opportunity for E.C. ENGINEERING. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Aírton Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. E.C. ENGINEERING's supporters rose to their feet, but Aírton Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernão Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Squadra Palestrina getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Donato Hoffmann hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrício Guedes to strike the kick off in the second half. Valdemar Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fernão Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Aírton Recife had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernão Moreira. Squadra Palestrina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aírton Recife was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Aírton Recife struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. ENGINEERING's José Pedro Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Guedes in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra Palestrina's zone, Aírton Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernão Moreira came out of the goal and Aírton Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the game, Valdemar Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C. ENGINEERING's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Squadra Palestrina the free kick. In the 69th match minute, E.C. ENGINEERING was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Damião to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrício Guedes in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Patrício Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Pedro Tande. Fernão Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdemar Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, E.C. ENGINEERING's Aírton Recife sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernão Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aírton Recife could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Fernão Moreira made a huge save. When Aírton Recife came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the E.C. ENGINEERING fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton Recife couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Squadra Palestrina getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Donato Hoffmann hit a great ball. In the 97th match minute, Squadra Palestrina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Mendes to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched E.C. ENGINEERING eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
