Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Glauco Nóbrega kicked off to start the match. Leopoldo Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Celsinho Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Vânderson Pombal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montanha de Zeus the free kick. Vânderson Pombal hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Norberto Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montanha de Zeus's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Floks's Celsinho Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Mandrak in the 15th minute of play. Celsinho Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgílio Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 minutes, Leopoldo Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montanha de Zeus and the Floks players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Floks booed when Montanha de Zeus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Floks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Tavares to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Norberto Porto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Celsinho Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th match minute, Montanha de Zeus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Celsinho Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ademar Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montanha de Zeus's protests and gave Ademar Gerber a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Porto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Virgílio Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Porto in the 64th minute of play forced Floks's goalkeeper Celsinho Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Floks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Pires to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Floks fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Celsinho Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Porto in the 72nd minute of play. Virgílio Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Palmeira having to interfere. Celsinho Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 minutes of play Montanha de Zeus's Leopoldo Mangueira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 79 played minutes Montanha de Zeus got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Mangueira. Dadá Figueiredo, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Ronaldinho Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Floks's Celsinho Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Floks from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marquinhos Berger during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Floks's Marquinhos Berger got a free kick in the 86th minute. Celsinho Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Palmeira in the 89th minute of play. Floks's Luiz Fabiano Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Montanha de Zeus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 97 minutes, Glauco Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glauco Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
