The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio de Brito got free with Alexandre Lara in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Luckasianos's Pedro Luís Velloso got a free kick in the 9th minute. Alexandre Lara made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Fábio de Brito sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Perez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alexandre Lara 19 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard de Godoi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ademar Perez came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Valür FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Perez couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ademar Perez made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio de Brito in the 52nd minute of play forced Luckasianos's goalkeeper Alexandre Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Váldson Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luckasianos's protests and gave Váldson Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. The referee showed Oscar Simão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luckasianos! Ademar Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Lara having to interfere. Fábio de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Alexandre Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Valür FC fully deserved thier win.
