Carlos Augusto Madureira hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Iuri Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Iuri Simão made a huge save. In the 21st minute of the match, Iuri Martins got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iuri Simão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hílton Proença during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iuri Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Willian Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mengão FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
