Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vitório Cosme got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, José Vítor Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes Mengão FC got a freekick which was hit by Tião Palmeira. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Agnaldo Romero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Mengão FC's José Vítor Mangueira got a free kick in the 16th minute. Macacos's Mauro Mineiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mengão FC. 25 minutes into the match, Mengão FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Peres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agnaldo Romero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Tinoco in the 27th minute of play forced Mengão FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Macacos defense, Iuri Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adilson Ramalho. The Macacos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adilson Ramalho should have stopped the shot. Rafinha Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match José Vítor Mangueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adilson Ramalho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mengão FC's Rafinha Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Cosme in the 43rd minute of play. Willian Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Ramalho having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Willian Tepedino to make the kick off. If Iuri Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bruninho Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macacos's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruninho Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafinha Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willian Tepedino in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adilson Ramalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 81 minutes, Willian Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mengão FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willian Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tadeu Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Agnaldo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Macacos's zone, Iuri Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adilson Ramalho came out of the goal and Iuri Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Agnaldo Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Macacos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Willian Tepedino 97 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mengão FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
