The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Willian Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Augusto Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Macacos booed when Eufrosina SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willian Paranaense took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adilson Ramalho. Adilson Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agnaldo Romero got free with Iuri Simão in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Juarês Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dadá Castro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Willian Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adilson Ramalho was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 31st match minute, Macacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Couto to maneuver through the defense. During the 37th minute of the match Álvaro Couto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Álvaro Couto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Álvaro Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Eufrosina SS got a corner. Macacos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Augusto Perez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Iuri Simão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agnaldo Romero in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juarês Motta to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Willian Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eufrosina SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willian Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Willian Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eufrosina SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Willian Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iuri Simão came out of the goal and Agnaldo Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vitório Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Diogo Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Bruninho Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agnaldo Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Simão having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Juarês Motta took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Adilson Ramalho to make any attempt to save it. Eufrosina SS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
