The supporters of AA Sempre Nós FC booed when Real feirense-BA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. AA Sempre Nós FC's Daniel Paraíba shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlos Torres but with some difficulty. 25 minutes into the match, Jerzy Damazki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Ceresso. AA Sempre Nós FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerzy Damazki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, Percy de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AA Sempre Nós FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real feirense-BA the free kick. The supporters of Real feirense-BA booed when AA Sempre Nós FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real feirense-BA's Márcio Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Damazki in the 39th minute of play forced AA Sempre Nós FC's goalkeeper Tiago Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Torres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amauri Trancoso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. Jerzy Damazki might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Damazki ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Trancoso in the 46th minute of play forced Real feirense-BA's goalkeeper Carlos Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Paraíba got free with Carlos Torres in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Márcio Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiago Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Damazki in the 53rd minute of the match. Jano Leão hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Real feirense-BA's Jano Leão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Didi Britto in the 60 minute of the game. With a left leg Tiago Ceresso saved AA Sempre Nós FC from getting behind.
