The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Messias's late challenge caught a Clube fish's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio Messias helped the player get up and apologised. Antônio Messias hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Dorival Moraes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sidnei Senna was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Percival Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Jairo Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Moraes in the 65th minute of play forced Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's goalkeeper Sidnei Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percival Penha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidnei Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Tiaguinho de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sidnei Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Zé Roberto Barros fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ's protests and gave Zé Roberto Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Roberto Barros hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Clube fish were awarded a corner. Léo Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ρ Λ Ν D O Я Λ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clube fish.
