Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Banco's Cícero Pena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gláuber Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Valinor booed when Banco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Cícero Pena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amauri Branco. Cícero Pena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Cícero Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amauri Branco was a little too slow when Cícero Pena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Amauri Branco made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Gláuber Zanette sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Nelson Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valinor's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes Banco got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Lopez. Gláuber Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Lucas having to interfere. Nelson Pinho spun around in front of the goal 33 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Banco's goal. 39 minutes into the game, Cícero Pena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amauri Branco. Cícero Pena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Durvalino Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Cícero Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Amauri Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gláuber Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amauri Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Paiva in the 51st minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Valinor got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Freitas. Cícero Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Branco having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durvalino Paiva during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Banco got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Paiva. Gláuber Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Amauri Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Cícero Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Banco booed when Valinor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valinor's Amauri Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Pena in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cícero Pena in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amauri Branco saved Valinor from getting behind. Amauri Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Valinor getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Doni Senna hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Valinor's zone, Gláuber Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Branco came out of the goal and Gláuber Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Gláuber Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valinor's Amauri Branco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amauri Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
