The supporters of Envira booed when Invictus Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Trigo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcelinho Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovani Trigo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When Baltazar Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Envira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dedé Loyola hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Marcelinho Mangueira put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Geovani Trigo. Marcelinho Mangueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Geovani Trigo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Envira's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
