Ulisses Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Simão having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Hermes in the 40th minute of play forced BAR F.C's goalkeeper Fellipe Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Rubens Hermes made a precise shot to the right of Fellipe Simão. BAR F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonçalo Freire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Duarte Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mundurucus SS's protests and gave Duarte Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. Duarte Linhares hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Romário Porto fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Romário Porto hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Rubens Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fellipe Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Mundurucus SS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
