The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Mundurucus SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itapevi:s goal. Jaime Sabóia scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Mangueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rubens Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mundurucus SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubens Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arın Ferhat Kılıçer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mundurucus SS's Ulisses Araújo in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 36 minutes of play, Mundurucus SS's Duarte Linhares made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arın Ferhat Kılıçer was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Ulisses Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mundurucus SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Ulisses Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Itapevi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mundurucus SS were winning 1-3.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses Araújo got free with Arın Ferhat Kılıçer in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arın Ferhat Kılıçer didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. If Leandro Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubens Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Arın Ferhat Kılıçer made a huge save. Rubens Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Itapevi's Rafael Soeiro got a free kick in the 77th minute. Rubens Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. When Edgar Britto came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Itapevi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Britto couldn't finish the play. Itapevi's Arın Ferhat Kılıçer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Hermes in the 90th minute of play. When Décio Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapevi's protests and gave Décio Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. Décio Valadares hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Rubens Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Arın Ferhat Kılıçer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
