Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Carlos Amorim started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Garcia during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tebaida's Reinaldo de Queiroz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Itamuri. José Carlos Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Saraiva having to interfere. Maicon Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but César Saraiva made a huge save. In the 11th match minute, Tebaida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Maia to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Brodel in the 12th minute of play. Maicon Xavier struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. César Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tebaida. When Tebaida's José Carlos Amorim in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Itamuri's César Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Itamuri from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes of play, Itamuri's Anselmo Brodel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jefferson Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, José Carlos Amorim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Anselmo Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jefferson Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Baptista hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute of the match Eusébio Marques sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson Britto skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Seco to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Itamuri's zone, José Carlos Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Saraiva came out of the goal and José Carlos Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 53 in the game by Anselmo Brodel from a close distance when the talented Jefferson Britto managed to make a qualified save. Tebaida's players were relieved. César Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Itamuri's Patrick Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jefferson Britto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, José Carlos Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. César Saraiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patrick Seco succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 69th minute Maicon Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maicon Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Jefferson Britto managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Itamuri's Anselmo Brodel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jefferson Britto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Brodel in the 75th minute. The supporters of Itamuri booed when Tebaida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tebaida's Jefferson Britto got control of the ball when Anselmo Brodel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gugu Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itamuri's protests and gave Gugu Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Itamuri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. If Patrick Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jefferson Britto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Seco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. César Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Amorim in the 96th minute of the match. The Tebaida supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Itamuri's performance. The match ended with a win for Itamuri.
