Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hamílton Moraes started the match with the kick off. Miguel Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Pinheiro in the 3rd minute of the match. Valdemar Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamílton Moraes went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hamílton Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aguia de Ouro FC's Valdemar Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Moraes in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Aguia de Ouro FC's Giovanni Pinheiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. DENVERLIGHTS's Miguel Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save DENVERLIGHTS from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Aguia de Ouro FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Moreira hit a great ball. Tarcisio Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Miguel Gerber made a huge save. Hamílton Moraes scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdemar Vasconcelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredão de Carvalho hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Aguia de Ouro FC's Miguel Gerber threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dé Nunes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Valdemar Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Miguel Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Aguia de Ouro FC's Valdemar Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Aguia de Ouro FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Aguia de Ouro FC's zone, Hamílton Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Hamílton Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdemar Vasconcelos was a little too slow when Abel Reis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-3. Miguel Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Pinheiro in the 65th minute of the match. Miguel Gerber came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Aguia de Ouro FC's Tarcisio Prado. But to his dismay, Tarcisio Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Alfredão de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the DENVERLIGHTS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredão de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Osmar Saldanha's late challenge caught a DENVERLIGHTS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osmar Saldanha helped the player get up and apologised. Osmar Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Remo Loureiro hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Hamílton Moraes struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Valdemar Vasconcelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DENVERLIGHTS. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguia de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Valdemar Vasconcelos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If César Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hamílton Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Aguia de Ouro FC's zone, Abel Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Abel Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Valdemar Vasconcelos managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when DENVERLIGHTS's Alfredão de Carvalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 91 minutes, Hamílton Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DENVERLIGHTS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamílton Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
