Miguel Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Pinheiro in the 10th minute of the match. César Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Frédson Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Cauan Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. César Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frédson Simão made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Hamílton Moraes sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itamatare FC's Frédson Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Itamatare FC from getting a goal against them. The referee gave Itamatare FC a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ricardo Matorin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DENVERLIGHTS's Miguel Gerber. 0-1. César Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Frédson Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Itamatare FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cauan Batista hit a great ball. Frédson Simão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Reis in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamílton Moraes was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, César Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DENVERLIGHTS's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54thth minute of the game Abel Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itamatare FC's Frédson Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Hamílton Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frédson Simão was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Sílvio Luiz Pinheiro's late challenge caught a DENVERLIGHTS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Luiz Pinheiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Sílvio Luiz Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredão de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Simão having to interfere. Frédson Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Freitas in the 60th minute of the match. César Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of DENVERLIGHTS booed when Itamatare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. César Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Itamatare FC's goalkeeper Frédson Simão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Hamílton Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DENVERLIGHTS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamílton Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Simão having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Itamatare FC's zone, Rubens Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Simão came out of the goal and Rubens Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredão de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Abel Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. DENVERLIGHTS's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson Simão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alfredão de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamílton Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubens Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Simão having to interfere. DENVERLIGHTS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Itamatare FC to leave the ground with a draw.
