Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Luís Seco got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Bacaubas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Gomes came free, but Dida Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, André Luís Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacaubas SS's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luís Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jardel Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Sanches's late challenge caught a Bacaubas SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Sanches helped the player get up and apologised. David Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Bacaubas SS's André Luís Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dida Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrício Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Gomes having to interfere. Bacaubas SS's Patrício Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Escrivao's Zé de Almeida got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Aílton Barral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jardel Gomes skillfully saved the ball. Jean Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dida Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dida Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Massa in the 28th minute of the match. Jardel Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Massa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Vladimir Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Bacaubas SS's goalkeeper Dida Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Mangueira. André Luís Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Gomes having to interfere. Zé Roberto Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Aílton Barral, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jean Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bacaubas SS's Aílton de Queiroz got a free kick in the 69th minute. Dida Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Mangueira in the 73rd minute. André Luís Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Lino Massa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Linares was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, André Luís Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jardel Gomes. Escrivao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luís Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 90th minute, Jean Mangueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Escrivao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Jardel Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrício Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Patrício Azevedo took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jardel Gomes. Jardel Gomes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Escrivao supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Escrivao would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
