In the 13th minute Carlos Eduardo Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Carioca in the 15th minute of play forced Poderoso FC's goalkeeper Hudson Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Carioca in the 17th minute of the match. Eduardo Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hílton Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hudson Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Carioca in the 26th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Poderoso FC's goalkeeper Hudson Diniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Carioca in the 37th minute of play forced Poderoso FC's goalkeeper Hudson Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bernardo Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The EC Pasta Preta fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when EC Pasta Preta's Bernardo Carioca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franklin Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as EC Pasta Preta's Bernardo Carioca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hudson Diniz. That made the score 0-3 after 51 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Poderoso FC defense, Carlos Eduardo Berger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hudson Diniz. The Poderoso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson Diniz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to EC Pasta Preta getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dito Siqueira hit a great ball. Erasmo Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hudson Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of EC Pasta Preta booed when Poderoso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Eduardo Berger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Hudson Diniz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Poderoso FC's Sandrinho Chaves got a free kick in the 77th minute. Hudson Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Carioca in the 81st minute. Hudson Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Carioca in the 88th minute of the match. Denílson Valle struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Hílton Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
