Rui Bueno started the match with the kick off. Haroldo Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Goncalves EC booed when Alvareda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willian Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Rui Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Bittencourt having to interfere. Haroldo Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Ribeiro in the 24th minute of play. Fellipe Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Vivaldo Montenegro made a huge save. After 29 played minutes Alvareda got a freekick which was hit by Willian Martins. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ezequiel de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goncalves EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvareda's Haroldo Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Varela in the 35th minute of play. Haroldo Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Fellipe Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvareda's Haroldo Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel de Andrade in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alvareda's Marco Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Henrique Moreno put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alvareda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Goncalves EC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mathias da Silveira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alvareda's Haroldo Bittencourt. 0-1. The Alvareda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Goncalves EC were winning 0-1.

53 minutes into the match, Alvareda's goalkeeper Haroldo Bittencourt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel de Andrade. Ezequiel de Andrade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Haroldo Bittencourt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alvareda's Haroldo Bittencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Alvareda from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Enéas Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Bittencourt having to interfere. Marco Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Goncalves EC's Mathias da Silveira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With his leg Haroldo Bittencourt managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Goncalves EC's Ezequiel de Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the game, Pedro Luís Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goncalves EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvareda the free kick. The supporters of Alvareda booed when Goncalves EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Alvareda getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Willian Martins hit a great ball. Ezequiel de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Ezequiel de Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haroldo Bittencourt. Ezequiel de Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3.
