Juan Nascimentos short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Luiz Berger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luiz Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Nascimento in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Dante in the 17th minute of play forced iron maiden's goalkeeper Luiz Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Claudinho Valladares came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the iron maiden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Valladares couldn't finish the play. Luisão de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainer Markholt in the 22nd minute of play. Claudinho Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davi Dante in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Berger saved iron maiden from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Guama SC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Valladares came free, but Luisão de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Luiz Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Nascimento in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes iron maiden got a freekick which was hit by Tales Furtado. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rainer Markholt made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Clemente Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the iron maiden and the Guama SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, iron maiden's Clemente Santos got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Guama SC's Davi Dante made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Dante in the 66th minute of play forced iron maiden's goalkeeper Luiz Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When iron maiden's Rainer Markholt in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rainer Markholt might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisão de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rainer Markholt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute Rainer Markholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Juan Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Juan Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Berger. iron maiden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After having played for 85 minutes, Davi Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guama SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Dante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Davi Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Luiz Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Dante in the 95th minute of play. Luiz Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
