Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guga Gerber started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th match minute, Marcolandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Amor to maneuver through the defense. Luís Gustavo Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Donato Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Gustavo Valle was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Manuel do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, El Barco Pirata's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Montenegro came free, but Luís Gustavo Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Barco Pirata's zone, Mazinho Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Valle came out of the goal and Mazinho Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Donato Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Montenegro took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Valle. Luís Gustavo Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Montenegro was the one to do the kick off. Donato Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Luís Gustavo Valle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 59 minutes, Jorginho de Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Barco Pirata and the Marcolandia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Barco Pirata's Jorginho de Azevedo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Donato Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Gustavo Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the game, Eusébio de Toledo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Marcolandia's Serafim Bezerra quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. El Barco Pirata's Luís Gustavo Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Montenegro in the 72nd minute of play. Júnior Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Donato Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Gustavo Valle having to make a save. Marcolandia's Donato Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marcolandia's Donato Montenegro in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Barco Pirata's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Montenegro in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, El Barco Pirata's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Montenegro came free, but Luís Gustavo Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Montenegro got free with Luís Gustavo Valle in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel do Valle came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by El Barco Pirata's Guga Gerber. But to his dismay, Guga Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marcolandia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
