A collision led to Pão de açúcar coraçãozin getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Adelino Teles hit a great ball. Ventura's Célio Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pão de açúcar coraçãozin's Anísio Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Ribeiro in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Ventura's Richard Veloso made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anísio Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladimir Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anísio Maranhense having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Pão de açúcar coraçãozin's Valdomiro Pombal got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Vladimir Jacinto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anísio Maranhense, 4-0. In the 31st match minute, Pão de açúcar coraçãozin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Teles to maneuver through the defense. Breno de Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1.

Pão de açúcar coraçãozin's Anísio Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Ribeiro in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Pão de açúcar coraçãozin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Pombal to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Richard Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anísio Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Anísio Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Ribeiro in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Ventura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. Richard Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Veloso succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. If Richard Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Wilton Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Anísio Maranhense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Richard Veloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anísio Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Rubens Lago made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pão de açúcar coraçãozin's Isaltino Hoffmann. The crowd rose to their feet as Pão de açúcar coraçãozin's Narciso de Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Breno de Alcântara. That made the score 7-2 after 93 minutes of play. The supporters of Ventura booed when Pão de açúcar coraçãozin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pão de açúcar coraçãozin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ventura.
