Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cido Saraiva got the match started through his kick off. Cumary's Júlio Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Saraiva in the 15th minute of play. Pedrão Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Júlio Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Cumary's Raimundo Alves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipe Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cido Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Júlio Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Lei de Gil. In the 28th minute, Clube Atlético Lei de Gil's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raimundo Alves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cido Saraiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Clube Atlético Lei de Gil's Filipe Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Ortiz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 40th minute Tarcisio Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizinho Pimenta hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tarcisio Ortiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Filipe Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cido Saraiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Pedrão Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Lei de Gil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luizinho Pimenta fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Lei de Gil's protests and gave Luizinho Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Luizinho Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tarcisio Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Tarcisio Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarcisio Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Prestes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tarcisio Ortiz in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Prestes saved Clube Atlético Lei de Gil from getting behind. After having played for 68 minutes, Tarcisio Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarcisio Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Raimundo Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Filipe Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Júlio Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrão Vergílio in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match, Cido Saraiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Júlio Vieira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Cumary's Raimundo Alves in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube Atlético Lei de Gil's goalie prevented a goal. Filipe Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Alves in the 89th minute of play. Pedrão Vergílio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Raimundo Alves struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Filipe Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumary.
